Project Ready Partners
We help communities build an engaged and civically educated voting base by working with community members and local organizations to increase community members’ understanding of:
Basic civics
The state of local schools
Policies that impact local schools
We build and support local advocacy efforts to achieve policy wins that promote excellent schools by:
Training local organizers
Supporting local organizers’ efforts to build and implement a culture of advocacy in the community
Generate new ways of building long term and sustainable advocacy strength throughout communities
We partner with the community to reimagine students' remote and in-person learning opportunities by investing in advocacy campaigns.
Addressing the Digital Divide:
The Coronavirus pandemic and the recent wave of racial and social injustices have illustrated just how wide, and how systemic, the opportunity gap is in communities like Newark. In particular, these two current crises have demonstrated that opportunities to learn by accessing the requisite tools and technology are incredibly limited for many within our community.
